The Benevolent Fund of the Institution of Civil Engineers exists to provide advice, support and financial assistance to the needy and distressed who are either current or past Members (all grades) of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). The charity also helps dependants of such members.
The Fund's objectives are:-
- To provide information and advice to Civil Engineers and their families in need
- To help by providing one-off grants, loans and regular financial support
- To operate and manage an estate of houses and flats built for engineers and their families
- To develop awareness and understanding of our activities throughout the industry
We are 'the helping hand of the Institution of Civil Engineers'
